I wonder if a Mooslum program, would qualify as discriminatory?

HMM. If he is part of an organization, regardless of how low, he should support it, IMO.

Nah they cut off everybody's head without regard for age, gender or sexual preference.

I don't know. Ask Rep. Foley.

"Discrimination", in the way the City of Berkeley is using it, seems to imply that the Sea Scouts policy is highly-biased without sound reason.

However, in the case & nature of Homosexuals, the Sea Scouts obviously are not "excluding with bias";
they just won't accept any person whose standards are incompatible with the Sea Scouts.
So...the Sea Scouts are another victim of CA PC-propaganda.

Muslims are welcome in the Boy Scouts. They have their own special religious merit badges just like Christians (both Catholic and Protestant) and Jews do.

Although the city had allowed the Sea Scouts free birth space since the 1930s, ...

Forgive me lack of knowledge about the sea and all, but shouldn't that be "free berth space" or is this a totally different organization than I'm thinking of??

All the Sea scouts have to do is start bashing Christians and all will be forgiven of them.

"“We are so far down the chain,” Evans said. “We don’t even have the hope of ever having any effect on the Boy Scouts’ policies. The Boy Scouts of America is a huge non-profit corporation and the board of directors make all the decisions. We have absolutely no control over it.'"
Sad to see this guy being apologetic about an appropriate BSA policy, and whining about it on top of that.

Even sadder to see what the Libs are willing to do, destroy the Sea Scouts, to enforce their will upon a private group. And here I thought Liberals were all about "the children".

These are Sea Scouts, they study nautical (as opposed to wilderness) skills. Therefore they need access to the water.

What we need is a rich conservative to buy a couple of slips and donate them to the scouts to use. It would be a great thing to do both for the kids and to listen to the left b#tch about not getting their way. Rich libs donate to causes like this, we need to find someone on our side to start doing the same.

"The city negotiated with the Boy Scouts and agreed to give them six berths in exchange of 80,000 tons of rock to build the Marina.

Breach of contract. City must pay for use of 80,000 tons of rock since 1936.

I knew it was not going to be good just by the name Berkeley.

Yup. California is a very intolerant state.

That was one of the things that bothered me about this thread. The Salvation Army has it right. They tell me when one door closes God opens another. I believe the SC erred here but it will work out well for the Boy Scouts in the end, if they stand their ground.

Traditionally, you would be correct. A boat belongs in a berth. Well, you can't expect too much these days from an MSM drone writer!
