Well, I'd be the first to admit that she was premature in running for Senate after only serving 4 years in Congress.
But she threw her hat in the ring fair and square, nobody didn't challenge her and she's the nominee now. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Either conservatives get behind her or they want Nelson to win. Funny how all this rah-rah conservatives must get out and vote Republican or else Pelosi will wreak havoc doesn't apply to Harris. Ditto with the polls. Polls about Bush - BARF ALERT! But polls about Harris are the gospel. There's a huge double standard here. This website is supposed to advance conservatism, not defeat it in favor of the status-quo, and Harris is possible the most conservative candidate in the mid-terms after Santorum.
I support Harris. I hope she wins. Why wouldn't I??? Look at it like a football game. In order for the Packers to beat the Steelers, the Packers have to not turn over the ball and play almost flawless football.
The same was in her case. She had issues going into the elections. Fine, I didn't have a problem with her with any of this. But she had to overcome this and run a flawless campaign. She hasn't.
I am not dumping on her, but from the perceptive that I have on this race, if she does lose, it would have been a wasted opportunity.
"I wasn't about to vote for her because she was unelectable."
I love that "logic", don't you?
"This website is supposed to advance conservatism"
You do that by putting your people in office and keeping Democrats out of office. I agree that we should play hard until the clock runs out-- we need the enthusiasm in Pennsylvania, Montana and elsewhere. I disagree that we should play 3rd-stringers that are fan favorites while benching people on the starting lineup, especially in critical games where we need a touchdown.
