THIS is why leaving the ballot for CA governor blank, instead of actively voting for Arnold is NOT an acceptable bahavior for conservatives. And anyone who isn't left of Marx, should run, walk, crawl to vote FOR Arnold, against Angelides.

Angelides' support of the government run healthcare, which Arnold thankfully vetoed, alone should be enough reason and there are many more. There are indeed huge differences between Arnold and Angelides.

Yeah. He fails to mention that prop 85 is so that MINORS, girls UNDER 18, can have an abortion w/o parents knowledge.. Schools DEMAND a note from parents stating why the child was LATE to school.. but the school can actively take a CHILD to get an abortion w/o telling the parents??!!.. some times i wonder if God will someday just put his foot down and squash this planet like a bug...

Arnold has Willy Brown's support. Why?

Because Willy knows Arnold will win and knows California politics better than anyone, having written most of the current rules.

I think a lot of dems are going to stay home because they cannot vote "R". So any close races will go for the Republicans or incumbent, imo.

We shall see after the election closes.

Save your angst for the other races. Even Pravda by the Bay (SF Chronicle) is recommending the Gubinator for re-election. Its well to encourage people to get out and vote -- but that's primarily for McLintock, the Propositions, and some of the other races. Angelides is cooked, and all that is left is 3 weeks of annoying commercials.

Zogby again? He's smoking crack. Arnold will win by double-digits. The only question is whether its going to be more than 10%. Everything Angelides has tried has failed to move him to 50%. This in a state with a plurality of 42% Democrats and enough Left-leaning independents who normally give Democrats statewide winning margins here.

Not only is Angelides cooked, but a lot of wishful dem issues as well.

I cannot do anything about my Rep (Mike Honda). I haven't even heard one word about the stealth rep. But I will vote for anyone with a "R" after their name and against all props.

If I could, I would vote against Pete Stark, but with the last gerrymander, he is no longer my rep.

You're over-doing it by a country mile! Conservatives in the Sierra-Nevada know what Arnold has done to them. There's nothing we can do about it because he's gonna be re-elected to another 48 rotten months to make us "lie back and try to enjoy it!"

So therefore, he doesn't need our votes, even though he'll still get some because CA just LOVES celebrities no matter what!!! Like you two, who need to spend a few minutes now, breathing into a paper bag!!!
