She had been married a few months before the hoax, one theory floating around which I don't really understand, is that she did this to hide an abortion.

If she had a abortion she would have to have been flown to Ramstein, AB. When I was at Oman, we had a girl come thru who was going to have an abortion and she had to go to Germany. Who knows, it just sounds fishy to me..
