Unbelievable!

I wonder what would have happened if I had written a letter to the KGB offering to help counter a US President? Only a frigging Kennedy could get by with this.

Well, it would also depend on whether you were trying to undermine a Republican or a Democrat with that letter. If it had been a Republican, probably you would have gotten away with it, or gotten off with a wrist slap. If it had been Carter or Clinton--nope. You'd be rotting in jail somewhere, if allowed to live at all.

It is a federal crime just to talk to foreign officials without permission. But that law tends to be ignored for CongressCritters, and most everyone on the left (think John F'n Kerry working with the NVA/VC in Paris)

Thank you Massachusetts. And, oh yes, for Kerry too. /sarcasm

Jimmah Cahtah did it too during the run-up to the '84 election. Catah and Kennedy are both still at it. Disgusting, both should be tried and executed.
