Symposium: Convert or Die (Religion of Peace News)

Last month, American al-Qaeda operative Adam Gadahn issued a “convert-to-Islam-or-die message to U.S. President George W. Bush, Daniel Pipes, Michael Scheuer, Steve Emerson and Robert Spencer. This attempt at forced conversion to Islam followed the “conversion” at gunpoint of the two kidnapped Fox News reporters Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig.

What exactly was the significance of these events?

On the one hand, these attempts at forced conversion were in clear continuity with Islam’s long history of calling people to convert before waging war on them. But how exactly does this tradition and practise in Islam square with the Qur’an’s verse “There is no compulsion in religion” (2:256)? If Gadahn and the kidnappers of the Fox reporters consider themselves Muslims, what was their rationale for their actions in this context? Also: if forced conversion is anti-Islamic, where were, and are, all the Muslims furiously protesting Gadahn’s threats and the treatment of Centanni and Wiig?

Islam requires that an invitation to accept the Religion of Peace is issued to the infidel. If he declines, then he is presented with three choices: convert, submit or die.

Many times Islam has "invited" the west to accept the Religion of Peace. Europe appears to have chosen to submit. The US has declined the inviation. Leftists, being people known for their good intentions, are clueless despite the fact they would be the first to have their throats slit if they should find themselves in an Islamic society.

Convert, submit or die: choose wisely.

I believe we ought to give Islam a choices also.

Leave us in peace or which would like to see nuked first, Mecca or Medina?

I don't think nuking either would end the problem. It would be a disaster of Biblical proportions and would be seen as such, but to a Muslim in, say, Cebu, would it make him want to stop converting the world to Islam?

If Muslims nuked Bethlehem into a vast crater, would you abandon Christianity?

I think it would be fun to tell them we'll convert when they end their illegal occupation of Christian lands and Holy sites. I'd like to hear what they have to say about that.

If make the alternatives so reprehensible to them they will think twice.

It worked during the dark ages.

If you mission in life is to deceive, force and kill as many people as possible you need to be prepared to learn the errors of your ways, whether it comes from men or God.
