Question: I'm 5'8" tall, weigh 155 pounds, male. What is my BMI, and am I considered fat, skinny, obese?

First let's convert your statistics to metric.

5'8.0" ~ 1.73 cm
155 lbs ~ 70.5 kg

BMI_C64 = 70.5 / (1.73)² = 23.5

I prefer to use

BMI = (weight in pounds * 703 ) / (height in inches)².

155*703/68*68= 23.565
