Not exactly on topic and there isn't enough info to post a new thread about this, but a South Korean paper is reporting that in the North there is "movement at military bases to launch Rodong and Scud missiles".

This was also mentioned in an article on CNN a few hours ago which has now been editied with the paragraph removed. I believe it went along the lines of saying that two DoD officials had told CNN that satellites had detected movement at North Korean missile bases, but they weren't sure if it was an act of provocation or preperation for real launches.

I look at it like this...

If NK wants to jump off on SK, then that certainly is right in line with what they've been saying and wanting to do for as long as I can remember...

This issue has had its ups and downs for years...A lot longer than the current trend in the mid-east...

Kimmy boy has been trying to get attention in so many ways its almost pathalogic...

Like a little child with all sorts of adult toys...

There is no way to ignore the rantings and ravings of such a pathalogical personality, and the more you try, the more he stomps and screams...

So when the time comes, and the child crosses the line...The US, and whomever else wants to get in on the fun, can line up and spank the little heathen from here to Christmas...

This whole issue with the NK ship and the need to confirm whats onboard and where it "was" going is almost a moot point...The plan is in place, the people who are going to give us relief are ready to go...All they are waiting on is the word...

And when all is said and done if NK wants to protest and stomp their feet and set off a nuke in their own backyard to protest this action...

More power to you Kimmy...Irradiate your own yard...See what that does for ya...

Nothing...

It certainly is exciting to watch the festivities though!

One thing to keep in mind...

Back in December of 2002, just before we started on Iraq...

3 Chemical Parcel Tankers left an Iraqi port loaded (hull down) for somewhere unknown...

It was briefly reported on and quickly suppressed or not reported on again...And the status of the ships was never resolved or where they ended up ever reveiled...

Being extremely familiar with what the capabilities of a parcel tanker can do, and the coincidence of our desiring to lock down all of Iraq's WMD's...

I find this recent NK ship story to be very familiar and similar in how everyone is approaching the issue...

I bet we get one of the standard, "nothing to see here folks, move along!" in the near future...
