County Republican Chairman Scott Baugh, however, said that after speaking with state investigators and the company that distributed the mailer, he believes Nguyen had direct knowledge of "obnoxious and reprehensible" letter. He told the AP that the party's executive committee voted unanimously to urge Nguyen to drop out of the race against Democratic U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez. Baugh and the EC are a bit quick on the draw, aren't they? He's relying on someone who runs a political mailer business? Why not wait until investigations are done and all of the facts are in?

Personally I still don't see anything wrong with the letter, but that's just me.
This smells of clinton. Has he been out here recently? He's in the news so much it's hard to keep up with him. Remember he did have those voter ID cards sent out in 2004 [and I believe they had his stamped signature on them] to legal and illegal Hispanics instructing anyone who received one how to use it to vote.
Loretta Sanchez won her position by fraud, I wouldn't mind betting her sister won hers too the same way.
