Frankly, this business belongs in Idaho with his constituents and the voters who elect him.

Democrats fail to realize conservative Republicans hate the sin but not the sinner. Democrats believe we will overreact the same way they do, we don't. For ANY Democrat to complain about anyone being homosexual is a joke.

The only reason all this is being exposed now is because homosexual Democrats believe they can force us to acknowledge them as somehow being normal. They aren't, and this makes it clear they are worse than simply being homosexual. The big question is whether or not this behavior is Democrat party policy?  I'm guessing it is based on past events.

A homosexual Republican is not what we may want but it's not the end of the earth as long as they are representing their state. What Democrat homosexuals don't get is Republicans are not identified by their sexual behavior but our character and values that represent our voters.  On their side, it's all about identity politics.  On our side it's about representing our values.  If one of those is off base we will judge the representative on his or her total character, not one issue.

If anyone wants proof, just consider the Joe Lieberman candidacy.  I would never vote for Lieberman but I accept his state of CT is not my state of CO.  But because of one issue the Democrats have thrown him overboard and continue to bash him and disparage him.  That too is a disgrace.   To be a Democrat  one has to accept all their crazy ideas and positions or your dumped.

The other reason being they believe it will keep the-uptight-homo-hating-intolerant-Republican-base at home Nov.7th...I think they are wrong, if I had to crawl I would be there, voting a straight Republican ticket no matter what! No pun intended!
