CNN) -- Chilling scenes from a videotape made by insurgents show the work of snipers in Iraq, targeting and killing American troops, taking them down with a single bullet from a high-powered rifle. The graphic video of 10 sniper attacks was obtained by CNN -- through intermediaries -- from the Islamic Army of Iraq, one of the most active insurgent organizations in Iraq. In one scene, U.S. soldiers mingle among Iraqi civilians on a city street as a U.S. Humvee with a gunner in its turret stands guard nearby. From a distance, possibly hundreds of yards away, a sniper watches for his opportunity to strike as a fellow insurgent operates a camera to capture the video for propaganda purposes. In the video, street sounds mix with male Arabic voices as the sniper and his spotter talk off-camera. "People are around them," warns the spotter, who seems to be operating the video camera. "Want me to find another place?" "No, no," comes the reply, "give me a moment." And then, the crack of gunfire is heard and the soldier in the turret slumps forward. "Allahu Akbar (God is Great)!" is the exclamation as the sniper's vehicle starts and they slip away.

CNN's blatant and heavy-haanded attempts to demoralize the American public is the real story that needs to be told. The story of how they bring aid and comfort to the enemy, and help him advance on one of the great battle fronts of the war - world and American opinion - is a story that needs to be told, too.
as I have posted before, iraq is really messed up and our strategies and tactics need to be reviewed. Playing chess with and using our soldiers as pawns isn't winning over the american public either. People are smart enough to figure out we don't have enough troops on the ground and we are not being heavy handed in our rules of engagement. We either commit 100% or we dont commit at all.
F*CK CNN.
CNN is contributing to the aid and comfort of the enemy. Plain and simple.
Shades of combat past!
Let's go to war boys. But don't shoot him, and don't bomb them, and don't throw that grenade unless you KNOW only the bad guy will get hurt.......
Hearts and Minds!!
F**k hearts and minds, blow them away till their hearts and minds are dust. Win the freaking thing.
ABC is running carnage around the clock. I went to bed last night to dead Iraqis on Nightline and woke up at 4:00 AM just in time for the morning show on ABC and at least 200 dead or severely injured Iraqis and a timeline story with an Iraqi Doctor, the implication of the timeline was to show this guy slowly going mad over the course of 2 years. They would come back to his clinic every 6 months. Wall to wall injured babies and civilians. It's a concerted effort by ABC right here.
I guess after Soros and company got CBS news thoroughly discredited they have moved on to greener pastures.
Exactly...something needs to be done to CNN. I saw this story on their website, and was repulsed as well as astonished that CNN would stoop so low...
And then they write their little petty disclaimer..."This is a story we thought had to be told"...BS
CNN knows it's an election year, knows they are enabling and empowering jihadis with such coverage...but don't care...it's CNN's hate Bush 24/7/365.
Folks...there is a war going on in our country, and CNN and their ilk are the enemies, something "heavy handed" needs to be done to the folks that run that place.
Except our guys are uniformed as soldiers and theirs try to look like anything but a soldier. It's a dirty situation. Take the hotspots (including in and around Baghdad) and round up all military age men and boys for forced conscription in the military or public service. They need pure socialism before they can move to freedom. Sad but that is the conclusion Saddam's government came to. That's why they had the 4th largest military. It's why China has a million man army. Better to keep tabs on the fodder for insurgency that way.
Save Fox, they ALL are. What's worse is our government's cowardice in making them stop.
The limits that the FDR administration put on the media were a big part of out victory back then. Obviously, this war isn't as important, and therefore, not worth winning in the eyes of our betters.
Yeah, this great country has fallen in many ways since then.
"They should give equal time to our snipers. I bet ours take out way more terrorist scumbags than theirs do."
Hell yeah...we'd need a freakin' mini-series to show all our sniper kills...maybe we should start an enemy "body count"...
The things that "must" be done in lieu of our elected leadership collectively growing a pair "can't" be done at this point. Things at home will have to devolve to a much, much darker point before anything will happen.
It's our Achille's Heel and the enemies of our freedom know it.
In Hoc, Bro
This great country has fallen because it's citizens are willing to be ruled by the MSM,Hollywood,Academia, the judiciary, and the DNC.
For the last 40 years.
We have snipers, they have snipers. Is this news? Only when the side trying to advance chaos is given the same moral standing.
Tokyo Rose, meet your grandchildren.
Happily, we have other sources to news and are free to choose. This is why the MSM is on the decline, and why CNN's ratings are sliding.
How about showing those bodies hitting the pavement in front of the WTC.
Code for allies, coconspirators, comrades in arms, etc.
F*** CNN.
I disagree. The problem is for political reasons, our civilian leadership won't turn the military loose.
You can thank the MSM and the Democrats for that.
