Dario Herrera(D), a Reid backed Congressional Candidate and Reid backed County Commission Chairman (the job Harry's oldest son was just given), who converted to Mormonism as Reids behest to try to get pro-life votes as Democrat and yet the FBI got him on the wiretaps taking lapdances and sex with strippers as payment for voting with the scuzzie strip club owners;
Erin Kenny (D), former County Commissioner and union flunky. Kenny raised $1.25M in 1998 to win a County Commission seat in Clark County (las Vegas) to prevent a pro-GOP candidate being backed by the owner of the Venetian Casino (a billionaire and HUGE contributor to the GOP). The $1.25M was to win a seat which paid around $30K a year for the part-time job. Kenny worked at night to get her J.D. so she could be a lobbyist. And during the day, she sponsored every piece of crap legislation, zoning change or initiative the unions wanted. She tried to get WalMarts banned in Las Vegas entirely (which almost got her recalled). She was just a totally open shill. Then the FBI got her on the wire taking $200K in a Caymans account to vote the way of the strip club owner. AND she was caught taking payments from one of the most corrupt developers in town (who had already worked out a sweetheart deal 6 years earlier for Kenny so she could have a house within the district boundaries in time for the primary which she managed with less than 48 hours left on the clock). Kenny also tried to force through a zoning change for a corrupt developer which would haved built high density communities inside the Red Rock National Park. Absolutely nobody in las Vegas other than Kenny and her corrupt paymaster wanted this thing to occur and we got it killed with about 50 angry people following her around yelling at her whenever she held a public meeting. Kenny finally had to give up her law license and face the jail time and giving up the $200K in a guilty plea on a variety of corruption charges. Oh, and she was running for Lt. Governor when the FBI wiretaps were revealed. Needless to say, she isn't going to win.
Mary Kincaid-Chauncey (D), a nice old lady who runs a flower shop, but was also a 20 year County Commission and former city councilwoman who has had a 1000% Union Boss approved voting history until the UFCW called for WalMart to be abolished in Las Vegas (see Kenny above). Mary voted with her constituents (who are mostly poor) and opposed the WalMart ban. The Unions basically put a horsehead in her bed and they ran somebody against her in the very next primary which came up. She narrowly survived about $1M in attack ads by the union after 20 years of carrying their water. The unions still never forgave her for her travesty of backing WalMart, even once. Last year, Mary got caught on the wiretaps accepting $5000 in cash to vote with the stripclub owners. $5000. That's it. No hookers, no Cayman accounts, no campaign promises. The lady runs a flower shop. When she got the letter from the FBI notifying her that she was a target in a Federal criminal probe, she put in on her dining room table and didn't open it for two months. She didn't even hire a lawyer until the charges were filed against her. She was literally that dumb. And of all of the Democrats in Las Vegas, she was the least corrupt of them. Stupid flunky, yes. Corrupt, apparently but in such an amateur way it would make the Kennedy's laugh hysterically.
Chauncey was never going to be a bigger figure in the (D) party in Nevada but Erin Kenny was a future candidate for governor. And Dario Herrera (a former male model who never had a real job in his life) was considered to be another Barack Obama/John Edwards type who is good looking as his primary resume item. The (D)s wanted a young hispanic who could go statewide and Reid tapped him to run for the brand new 3rd Congressional District created in NV after the 2000 redistricting. The district was even negotiated specifically FOR Herrera by Reid from Washington. The district has most of the hispanics in Las Vegas in the boundaries and a 5 point registration advantage for the (D)s even though the GOP controlled the Governors mansion and the State Senate. Herrera turned out to be a pretty but empty suit. Reid raised lots of money for him but the money couldn't give Herrera a brain or keep him out of the stripclubs. Even the incredibly cynical stunt of having the Catholic Herrera convert to be Mormon (like Reid) to get the Mormon Reid voters who only cross party lines for other Mormons but will vote straight ticket GOP otherwise. Herrera lost the 5% registration advantage and another 10% by Nov 2002 and Jon Porter (R) is now in the new seat. And the (D)s don't have any credible statewide candidates in the farm system. Anybody who Reid has backed has imploded and Reid is now relying on getting his sons into office so he can replace himself. So far, all of this sons are lawyers and have billed a million apiece at least representing developers or builders who needed to do biz with the BLM and need Reid's invisible hand in D.C. to help. Reid has had to break the tradition and put one of his kids into office. Of course, he started him off with the vacated County Commission seat from Dario Herrera and Reid's oldest son, Rory (who is Waxman-like ugly), can to be a virgin politician by taking over the post powerful position in the state - Chairman of the Clark County Commission (which controls 85% of all the money appropriated in the state). It was one hell of a Christmas present for little Rory. Rory is a putz and has not shown his daddies killer instinct so the jury is out on him. He is smart enough to not be anti-business since businesses can be a tremendous source of campaign money when you are extorting them in league with the unions.

The point is, this sleaseball Erin Kenny, the land developer bribe queen, also voted on Harry Reid's land deal. If you look up Dario Herrera, the same story. I just don't see how there isn't a coverup in the police and FBI that has kept the connection between Reid and the GSting scandal from coming out.
By the way, Erin Kenny and Dario Herrera were being wiretapped this whole time. So there have to be tapes of their conversations with Reid's office.

1)Rory Reid to Herrera's seat so he can run for congress
2) Mark James moves to District F so Erin Kenny can run for lt Gov. Mark James was lawyer to Jim Rhodes, and others, he quit the commission seat two years ago because he was tipped off about GSting.
Get this, Mark James after being moved by Reid to district F to get the Kenny Commissioner seat, was about to lose the REPUBLICAN primary to Tim Cory. So the Culinary Union (old Vegas Democrat mob union), gets 400 union members to switch to Republican so the can squeak made man James in by 250 votes. Have you ever heard of a Republican backed by culinary? This was all Reid's doing, and the work of campaign manager Kent Oram, former campaign manager to Erin Kenny, Lance Malone, Michael MacDonald, and all the police sheriffs.
That's why the police coverup. Oram owns the sheriffs and the police unions. He ran their successful pay raise bond campaign.

Even better, the commissioners sit on the water board. Just so happen Harry Reid owns 200 acres of dirt dry desert land in Searchlight which is only valuable with water rights. Jim Rhodes is having trouble getting water in Arizona across the border for a similar deal, wonder how easily the water will be found for the Searchlight land??
But realize that we are still talking about 90%+ of all the water coming down the colorado and not from underground sources. Those are like putting oil in the salt mines in Louisiana to be used in a national emergency. I don't know that anybody has any current or immeidate use for the water under most of the land unless you drill your own well or you have the Bellagio fountains to operate. But you are absolutely right about the water rights being the biggest value on the land.
The Culinary put up the majority of the $1.25M back in 1998 to put Erin in that seat, so they are probably going to get close to that again to get it back into the hands of a shill like Brager.

we Pubs are too trusting. Assume the people we elect are there for truth justice and the American way. Turns out that all too many of them are just more adventurous bums than we gave them credit for.
