After speaking to an assistant to Robert Walker, chief counsel of the Senate Ethics Committee, and receiving a promise that he would return my call, he was sent the following fax:

FACSIMILE TRANSMISSION

FROM: Douglas ***** , Filmmaker ph. 909.*******
(email redacted)

TO: Robert Walker, Chief Counsel, Senate Ethics Committee

DATE: Oct. 19, 2006

Mr. Walker:

I am responding to your letter sent to me on July 31, 2006. Sir, respectfully, to say that “The committee has carefully reviewed relevant information and material in this matter” simply flies in the face of the facts.

I will direct you to the fourth FEC report filed by Andrew Grossman in January of this year. As stored on the FEC website, for “Event 39”, Stan Lee is listed as a donor of $225,000 in-kind.

Here is a link to a video that shows a portion of Lee’s sworn testimony. He testified that he gave “no money.” http://youtube.com/watch?v=iM-DyDKC-7s Lee told that to the FEC, the FBI, and the Justice Department. Senator Clinton and treasurer Andrew Grossman know he gave no money. In broad daylight, Senator Clinton is being allowed to get away with another fraudulent filing. How is that possible? How is it possible for her to have her spokesman vow to the Washington Post and the voters on August 15, 2000 that she would take no money from Peter Paul and then continue to hide the fact that she did for six years? After she accepted over a million dollars from Mr. Paul, she made the voters believe she was returning all that he donated by returning a $2,000 check. That is not an ethics issue worthy of investigation?

The FEC apparently didn’t address it, however, a foreign national, Tendo Oto, not only attended the federal fundraiser on Aug. 12, 2000, he actually donated $27,000 and brought a camera crew with him from Japan to document his relationship with the Clintons. That money was neither declared nor returned. The Clintons violated the law when they made the Secret Service stand down to allow a foreign national to attend Hillary Clinton’s fundraiser. He could not be vetted by the Secret Service, yet he sat directly behind the President and First Lady. We have a video of her greeting him as he sat down.

We have evidence on Hillary Clinton’s letterhead that directed a secret $55,000 stock transfer to the Working Families Party in New York. It was laundered to a state committee, and we can find no evidence that it was ever reported. Senator Clinton was the person who orchestrated that donation.

Senator Clinton still refuses to properly declare Peter Paul as the donor of over $1 million to her campaign, despite his numerous efforts, as the donor, to force her make a proper reporting. Here is his latest demand letter that was delivered to her office yesterday, a copy of which was delivered to Senator Voinovich’s office. (copy attached) – online: http://www.peterfpaul.com/ (with hot links)

Until the Senate Ethics Committee calls relevant witnesses and examines documents that they have so far refused to review, the committee has not done its job. Considering the recent focus on ethical transgression of elected officials, it is astounding that Senator Clinton continues to escape scrutiny.

Respectfully,

Douglas *****

Explain Voinovich's role if you don't mind.
