Jewish Democrats say that they were pushing for a later release date.
I've known a self hating Jew or two.

Carter is as anti-Semitic as he is anti-American, and that's saying something.

Why can't the moron Carter be more like his predeceesor Gerald Ford where al you hear about him is his latest trip to the hospital?
Can somebody really be that naive to think he really has a positve legacy?
Good grief if I were him I'd found a rock to crawl under till death do us part.

No wonder he scared Anwar Sadat into seeking a peace agreement

Carter using the word "apartheid", Condi using the word "Occupation" and James Baker "I love Israel" running the show presently - it will all be fine!

This should come as no surprise. The man has made a fool of himself for a long time as a pontificating moralizer who cannot distinguish, indeed intentionally doesn't distinguish, between right and wrong. He was the perfect man to arrive on the scene when blurring moral differences, equivalencing (there's no difference between the USA and the USSR (why have an inordinate fear of communism), there is no difference between authoritarianism and totalitarianism - and other gibberish that showed they could not make meaningful distinctions no matter how different a society was), and equivocating were the bogus sign of an educated mind. The man is not only the worst president in our history; he is the worst ex-president. His greatest success is to have caused many Democrats to leave their parents' party. Jimmy Carter says out loud and in public what most leading Democrats only say amongst themselves.

How can a people believe in a party that is out to get them all killed? Are they self hating as has been stated before or have they just decided to forgo their heritage and live with the enemy?

Stick to making furniture, Jimmy. There's a reason why you were overwhelmingly rejected by the voters in '80.

Over 25 years since he's had any power, but apartheid, that's worse than the humiliation of occupation isn't it?
Clearly an issue elections are decided on.

The book was originally slated to be released November 1 six days prior to this years congressional elections but will now be available in stores November 14, according to Simon & Schuster spokeswoman Elizabeth Hayes.
Simon and Schuster is no openly releasing books based on partisan ends. They released David Kuo's hit peace on the president 3 months early, but moved this book back!

I have to grudgingly give them credit for being politically savvy enough to push the release date back. Maybe it will cause many Jews to abandon dems in 2008 if they remember feeling betrayed right after this election.
