Oh I never planned to do do other than vote GOP across the board.
What I'm doing is pointing out the fact that from time to time Rush is a flaming hypocrit.
He seriously offended me when he went on that anti-Dubya tear a couple of years ago and I'm not going to forget it completely.
Rush must shoulder at least some of the blame for the conservative dissatisfaction with the GOP, which is in part attributable his Bush-bashing tear.
And Rush isn't alone.
Laura Ingraham and Michael Savage — both Free Republic icons — contributed their share too.
What anti-Bush tear was he on? Bush not being "conservative enough"? Bush would be the first to admit he's "not conservative enough". Hell, I knew that even when he debated Al Gore three times.
I'm also surprised none of Savage's listeners questioned him re: democrat donations recently. Maybe they did, but I didn't hear it.
