I'm not doubting that. The GOP leadership did not endorse a candidate in the primary (which, I believe, is a good policy). They did not annoint a candidate, preferring to let the primary voters decide.

So she took her case to the primary voters. The objection to her candidacy that many of us had was that she could not win. Her response was, in no small part, to commit her own money to the effort. She pledged to give $10 million of her own fortune to her campaign. That was the sign that she was serious.

She hasn't kept her word so far, and if this is the best she can do she won't keep her word at all. She might have won the primary, but she won it with empty promises.

So how exactly is it the fault of the Florida State GOP that Harris broke her promise?

The gop and Jeb has not supported her at all and we will be stuck with Harris because of the gops failure
