I'm getting sick of the whole "global warming" jibberish. Anyone who was interested in paleontology as a boy (as I was) knows that variations in climate have been dramatic and sudden. It's a fact of life on a dynamic, ever changing planet. The idea of stasis in temperatures and weather conditions has never existed, does not exist and will never exist.

The Democrats need to stop this Global Warming madness and consider the environmental impact of a nuclear exchange anywhere on the planet.

I am far from expert in heat transfer physics, but perhaps someone who is can explain for me how the earth's gaseous atmosphere, being fully exposed to the infinite heat sink of outer space, can retain heat in the manner of a "greenhouse," a structure that by its very nature imposes a physical barrier to convectional heat loss.
I am familiar with the differential effect of clear and cloudy nightime skies on the surface temperature of objects exposed to the sky.
Do molecules of carbon dioxide, or methane, or other "greenhouse" gases, significantly limit the opacity of the atmosphere to long wave back radiation?
I claim refuge in the notion that there are no stupid questions, but there may be stupid answers.

I blame Bush. fewer hurricanes gave us drought and heat waves in the Midwest, where corporate farming controlled by Halliburton drew down our aquifers, which will cause the polar ice caos to melt and sea levels to rise. Meanwhile, the Gulf Stream will cease to function because of Halliburton, throwing England into the deep freeze.

Along the lines "Follow the money", The Global warming hysteria has one thing as it's goal: Collect new and ever increasing Taxes. Look at Europe, those Governments would have to give up a lot of their Tax income if they ever argeed that Global warming is not Man made. They are presently imposing a very hefty Eco Tax.
Germany, for instance 8%. They will always profit from Doom and Gloom.
