It's also worth noting that 100% of the D appointees voted for Kelo, and the two R's who did were both confirmed by a D controlled Senate (an overwhelmingly D senate in Stephen's case), one of them right after all these PRINCIPLED CONSERVATIVES stayed home in 1986 and handed the Senate to the D's, thus, defeating Robert Bork.
