A portion, how large I don't know, keep screaming that for the GOP to be successful they have to move to the middle and drop the social conservatives.

That would be the death knell for them.

Well, MA isn't your normal state. I'm surprised anyone that calls themselves a Republican is not strung up.

Any state that can vote Kerry and Kennedy in year after year is FUBAR.
