I visited USMA West Point two weeks ago and I was delighted to see several, if not many, portraits of Robert E. Lee.

By the way, if you've never been to West Point, go. There may be more US history in that one little place than anywhere else in America.

Robert E. Lee was a solid soldier from the time he graduated from West Point. Legend has it that his first officer efficiency report as a 2LT was - "He seen his duty, and he done it." That was it - short and sweet.
