Oops, Mitt did it again

When will Mitt Romney begin his push to outlaw divorce - the fate of 50 percent of American marriages?
When will he launch his campaign to eradicate out-of-wedlock births? Nearly 70 percent of black babies and 40 percent of white babies are born to unwed mothers, the government reports.
Surely any moment now. We know this because on Sunday, in a speech made downtown but broadcast to millions of Christian conservatives nationwide, Romney issued an impassioned plea on behalf of . . . the children. Every child deserves a mother and a father, he said.
And he called gay marriage a terrible danger to the little ones.
OK, Mr. Romney. But if gay couples children - so minuscule a number the government has no definitive stats yet - are in terrible danger, what of the children of the divorced and never married? What frightening perils do they face?

I know some of you aren't Romney supporters but this delusional liberal writer calls some republicans "right-wing nuts," mentions the KKK and also Mitt a "neathedral." No mention of Sen. Byrd and the Dems.

Let's put it this way, Margery Egan is such a banana that Don Imus stopped taking phone calls from her years ago. And that's going some for Mr. Imus.

My first reaction is how typical it is that liberals think the way to preserve families is to pass laws. It is always more and more government with them -- they can't think of any other approach to things.
This line struck me though . . . "Gay marriage hasnt yet killed anybody, has it?"
IIRC, there was a report or two of babies being beaten to death by a lesbian couple not all that long ago.

Typical empty liberal snippiness. I bet she loved Maureen Dowd's books and never misses her column. ;-)

The more I hear about Mitt Romney, the more I like what he has to say.

Mitt will be one of the last two men standing in 2008 when all the primaries and caucus events are over. Having moonbats call him names is a badge of honor. She wouldn't be wasting time on him if he wasn't a legit threat to Hillary/Gore/Edwards/Kerry/Obama in 2008.

Eagan is clueless. Ironically, she's considered the "right-wing" member of the "Eagan and Braude" radio show, but that's because Braude is so far to the left.

Typo on my part. Last line of the article: And Mitt could be looking at a George Wallace-style Sorry-Im-a-Neanderthal apology down the road. Wouldnt that be swell?

Undoubtedly this writer is one of the people supported by "evangelical" David Kuo.
