And the more adults cry out, the more they'll continue. I'm thinking of the reaction to Elvis. Um, so I've been told. I'm too young to remember. ;o)

changing music formats away from freak-friendly hip-hop, That's one of the best solutions. Or they could hire one of the bands I play in. Here we are on Youtube...

Freaking out the adults is the purpose of most things teens do, dancing among them.

Adults should be outraged because this is nothing more than simulated sex in public by juveniles with no sense of the consequences of their actions. Such "orgy" dancing will quickly evolve to promiscuous sexual encounters, leaving a trail of venereal disease, pregnancy, abortion, heartache, depression and suicide. But, hey, all that is something the left wants to celebrate!
Our nation becomes more and more like the decaying Roman empire every day.

Teenagers call it "freaking," Back before MTV existed we used to call it "dirty dancing"

A high-pressure water hose at the ready would go a long way to stop this kind of hedonistic behavior. If you're gonna act like a couple of dogs freaking in the front yard, then expect to get blasted.

The quickest way to stop this behavior is for a dumpy, middle aged couple get out on the dance floor and do the same thing. It would instantly become uncool and repulsive.

After a jungle-themed dance in September, Principal Charles Salter canceled all future dances until students, parents and administrators craft a plan to stop freak dancing.
...He then went to the school clinic to ask Nurse Jenn if he needed to requisition more condoms from the School Board.
(for those in Rio Linda, the latter event is an embellishment meant as satire ).

This stuff is
not dancing. It's a standing lap-dance. To compare it to Elvis and any previous generation's semi-suggestive dance styles is either naive or disingenuous.
There's nothing sensual or artistic about it. Watch MTV for a while and you'll get the idea. It's sex with (some) clothes on, that's all.
