Also in Ct. I am having a hard time with the Leiberman vote as well. But if we vote for the R, Lamont gets elected. Soo we have to kinda weigh the odds at who would be best in this race. We know the R won't win here in Ct, So do we throw the vote away and let Lamont get the win? Or should we vote for Leiberman who is at least supporting our efforts in the WOT? Still a bit reserved on which one I will Vote for. I promised myself I would never vote DEM again, But in Ct, when the race is DEM vs DEM, we have to look at which DEMon is worst. Remember Leiberman does cross Party lines in the Senate votes from time to time. Lamont plays puppet for the Far Left.
For those few weak-minded people who are falling prey to this tactic, let me remind them of something:
If the Rats take the House, we will have to watch non-stop "investigations" for the next two years. I do NOT want to see my TV screen filled with Waxman, Rangel, Conyers, and other creeps grilling Rummie, Rice, Gonzalez, etc. And you KNOW they will do this and be aided by the TV networks.
So, pull yourselves together and go vote straight Republican!
I'd rather have an "honest" candidate.
Lamont is upfront about his beliefs - anti-war on terror, for higher taxes, radical agenda on social issues etc etc. Lieberman is more "stealthy" - voted for the WOT but against lowering taxes, for radical social agenda - the ACU gives him a 5% rating.
Other than voting to invade Iraq, Lieberman is no friend to the Republicans, any more than is Lamont.
At least Lamont is intellectually honest about most things, he'll cut and run, screw us on taxes, etc... If you have him in the Senate, at least Americans will know what kind of looney leftist he is.
