Me too, so there!
Bump for the recipes
Thankfully, that isn't the only option. This isn't hard stuff.
Try this, I know it's tough, but work on it.
Know who ALL the candidates are, and then don't vote for ANY that are liberals or criminals.
Or is that too much trouble?
So you can't understand the question?
You asked about when the stakes have been low enough (to vote against a Republican, I presume). The question is flawed on its face because my statement didn't imply that such a time had ever existed. You just made that part up.
In response I spoke of the former Democrat party who at least cared about the safety of the country. In the past, one could vote for a Dem and not risk the very existence of this country and the survival of its people.
There is a greater chasm between the parties than there has ever been, and that, coupled with the fact that we are, for the first time in our history, fighting an enemy that wants to destroy every last one of us, and there has never been a time prior to 9/11 when the stakes were higher.
I don't want to presume to speak for every intelligent Republican on this board, but I would guess that if Zell Miller were running against Lincoln Chafee, that every one of us would vote for Zell. That is NOT what this thread is about.
But then, you knew that all along, and you knew what I was saying all along as well, didn't you? And you knew that I was right too, didn't you?
Stop playing games, Prot. It's tedious.
If you vote for your little third party guy, you are voting for the Republican's opponent.
I guess it IS too hard for some of you to grasp.....
I hope you don't act this way in real life.
Tiramisu, best dessert ever.
The stakes are TOO HIGH.
Good thinking for a change. A person has to know their limitations.
but I would guess that if Zell Miller were running against Lincoln Chafee, that every one of us would vote for Zell
OOPS, sorry girl, the vast majority of the people on this thread are advocating straight ticket voting for Republicans. Your boy ain't on that list.
The other guy is. You made my point, thanks.
Now be a good citizen, apologize, and then go tell all the straight ticket voters on this thread that they are wrong.
I'll move along now because I know I can trust you to work on that little task for me. Thanks in advance.
Does Mike DeWine qualify in your book?
Should we conservatives in Ohio not vote for DeWine so that a communist can be our Senator?
Specific answer please. Any more of your games and I'm outta here.....
I vote for the machine.
It's up to the electorate to find and support candidates.
I never advocated that.Shame on you for misleading people.
Huh?
Why are you afraid to answer my questions? Why are you afraid to take a specific stand?
Zell isn't running, you ijit (oops.....I called you a name, and you're going to cry).....and I asked you to give a specific example where the Dem was better than the Republican and you COULDN'T. We're talking about REAL CANDIDATES and THIS ELECTION.
Now either back your position with examples or give up the gig, Prot, and admit abject defeat.
I call that spitting on the graves of the soldiers who have given their lives to give us the right to vote.
Either you are advocating not voting, or you are advocating de facto voting for the Dem.
Which is it?
Thank goodness, whew!
The machine - the mechanism that gives conservatives the best chance to pass legislation, fill courts, etc.
In other words, block liberals.
Since I never did that, shame on you again!
I hope you aren't like this in real life, ya know, making things up, arguing with yourself,,,,LOL
So you vote for liberals to foil liberals? Hmmm, good idea,,,,,,lol.
