This is an FYI Ping for last night's 6.5 Earthquake in Papua New Guinea. There have been no reports of damage or injuries. There was a local Tsunami Alert issued with no Pacific wide threat.

Been there done that about a week ago.


I was just watching a new docu on the SF earthquake with some never before seen footage of the freeway collapse on to the lower level.
Updates on those who survived on being sandwhiched in.

They had Dr. Betts who amputated the lil bambinos right on the scene give his version of an update.
Dr. Betts was part of a surgical team who worked on my son back about a year before the quake and he was a young compassionate Doc back then.

I hardly reconize him 20 yrs later. Still compassionate for sure but really aged by that California sun.

The sister to the lil boy is a very grateful mom of two lil ones.

I guess today Oct. 17 was the 20yr (or 19th) year from that date.

Still fresh in my mind of exactly where I was at that moment.
