So let me get this straight (pun not intended) -- you are suggesting that having a gay guy as AIDS coordinator for the State Department is as non-conservative an act as giving 5.6 G's to Jerry Brown over a conservative Republican?

They didn't just have a gay guy. They had his lover hold the bible and referred to his lover's mother as his "mother-in-law". So here we have Condi and Mrs. Bush in effect endorsing "gay marriage".
I think that is quite a bit more disturbing than a $5k donation from Savage to Jerry Brown, particularly when Savage gave $10,000 to the "Pendleton 8" legal fund and several soldiers falsely accused of murder in Iraq, such as THIS guy ($5k), and Lt. Pantano ($10k), both of whom were acqutted, and NEVER should have been charged by this disgaceful Pentagon.
I would think that low level workers in the Administration would be there for the swearing in, NOT the first lady and Sec of State. Then again, I believe in something, not just getting elected, and pleasing as many groups as possible.
