Well, I'm all for accuracy and vetting info before releasing it. But the timing on this info. seems pretty crucial here. We really can't afford to lose even one seat to the Dems next month, considering what's going on with N. Korea and Iran (and Iraq). And the American public needs to know this info bad, and HAS needed to know it for too long now.
It just always seems like the Reps sit on crucial information like this and wait and wait, instead of fighting back. I'm just a little frustrated with this same ole, same ole 'Mr. Nice Guy Republican' routine, I guess. The Dems have been anything 'but' nice, and I'm sick of their lies....especially about the WMDs that were there before they were transported out 3 mos. before we went into Iraq. The Reps have virtually let the Dems get away with that campaign of lies for three years now, without significant rebuttle or without slapping them down. I think the Reps have played things way too passively for too long. It's time to take the gloves off. It's now or never. (just my 2 cents)
If this Iraqi intelligence memo was known to the American public before the war started it would have helped to increase the support for the war then and the same goes for the Iraqi Air Force memo that also talked about recruiting from their own ranks to conduct suicide missions against US interests.
"I think that Republicans have played things way too passively way too long."
Was chatting recently with a liberal neighbor about the upcoming elections. His take is that Republicans will win this election by manipulating the ballot process, and that the Dems are being much too passive about flaws in the new voting procedures and lack of a paper trail.
