People who think whining about immigration or spending has anything to do with the November elections are flat wrong. Your choices in that arena were during the primaries. If that escaped your attention then too bad.
I did vote during the primaries and was not offered a decent choice for governor. My vote for House Rep was overrruled. But that does not mean I have to vote for what's left.
Insulting others by calling us Democrats does a disservice to the GOP. Is the party that out of ideas and issues that insults are required immediately? That used to be the campaign strategy of the Dems. It's disappointing to see Republicans using it.

"by calling us Democrats"
Nope-- pro democrat.
Not voting to spite the Republicans because of dissatisfactions that should be articulated in primaries is a pro-democrat effect. We all know that here.
Voting and working in primaries does have an effect even if candidates do not prevail. In the war of lesser evils, it is important to act for lesser evils. That formula is not a recipe for the erosion of idealism because we continue to be free to advocate in the future and other contexts. But in this election it would be irresponsible to knowingly assist democrats in taking over the Congress.

(Its time to withdraw from the War on Bush-- your side is hopelessly lost in a quagmire.)
