I'm voting straight pubbie all across the board. No conservative rat or indy will get my vote now. There is too much at stake.

It ticks me off the way the Republicans have acted but I would rather be ticked off than ticked on so I will vote a straight Republican ticket also. But we must find a way to get their attention. Voting for a Democrat is like voting for surrender in Iraq,North Korea,China and anywhere else we may have trouble.

In 2002, a friend of mine ran for congress as a Democrat. He's a good guy and conservative. He is unequivocally pro-life. An old fashioned, conservative Zell Miller type Democrat.
I voted for his Republican opponent, the incumbent. He, too, is a solid conservative who has built a strong voting record in congress since the 1980s.
I hated voting against my friend, but I could not get the image of Tom Daschle as Speaker of the House out of my head.
