Did Michael Savage choose to support Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey like a certain president?

Uh like it or not specter is a Republican. Gov. moonbeam is a moonbat democrat, whom it seems moonbat weiner savage agrees with.

Toomey would have gone down in flames. The result is that the Senate may have switched parties causing Bush's judicial appointment not to get through, the 700 mile fence to get through.

I would like to think that Toomey could rally to victory in the general, but the practical result would have been a more liberal senate by giving the nomination to Toomey. W knew this. This is why they have supported a lot of people whom we don't care for too much but are reliable votes for giving leadership, control, and chairmanships to people we love.
