After Clinton melted down in front of Chris Wallace, the buzz wouldn't go away, so that Outting Guy (forgot his name) in concert with the DBM had to unleash the Foley story earlier than they were going to.
Not a conspiracy at all.. there was a report that this was mentioned by a dem operative.. I'll see if I can find a link...
