You're right about her probably only serving 10 months, if that. To make the issue even more disgusting, she is allowed to remain free pending her appeal which could take a year or more.

I don't know where you guys are coming up with this 10 month idea. She has no grounds for appeal since her sentence was such a drastic departure downward. The government will appeal and win, and her sentence will likely be longer than her remaining life.

Breast cancer is, thankfully, no longer the death sentence it once was. She could live long enough to assist other terrorists and perhaps realize her dream of participating in the murder of innocent Americans.

Having read post #125, I contend the government has nothing on which to base an appeal of this sentence, without any maximum minimum sentence outlined in the sentencing guidelines for this crime. The defendent, on the other hand, can manufacture a Constitutional technicality to support her appeal.

In any case, the clinton appointed sentencing judge should be removed from the bench for this miscarriage of justice, IMHO and the convicted defendent should be taken forthwith to a jail cell. She should never be allowed to practice law again.
