Which is one reason for 60 Minutes' segment last night which promoted the book by the former WH twerp who's claiming Evangel's are laughed at by the administration.

Republicans need to run on Reagan conservatism. It is true, if they don't highlight the issues that make them stand out from the Democrats they will lose.

Isn't it a little late in the process to bring out the conservative and values issue candidates? Do we have that many running for election or re-election?

This is more how conservatives should behave: optimistic and on offense.

I was sick and tired of reading the negative naysayers and defeatists this morning. This election is not won by these bogus and biased polls!! Media is desperate, so they trot these polls to depress the GOP turnout.

As Rush asked last week: What happens is the Dems lose?

I smell a strong GOP turnout. Media and belt-way folk are in for a November surprise.

The sleeping giant, called the evangelical church, is about to be awakened by true conservative candidates, who believe in both social and fiscal conservatism.

Outstanding. Now where the hell are those candidates?

Remember: Conservatives go to the polls Tuesday!
Liberals go on Wednesday!

Tell all your friends.

By focusing on Iraq and Foley, Democrats' have attempted to take our eyes off their primary agenda and coveted prize: appointments of liberal judges and liberal abortion laws.

Republicans, if they are to win in November and avoid a Pelosi takeover, must quickly appeal to those American citizens (their core base) who still believe that the Founders' ideas, as expressed in their Declaration of Independence and resulting Constitution, must not be overturned by what are described as progressive "liberal" judges who strike down laws protecting life (even life of the child in the womb) and property.

Deeply religious individuals need to be reminded of the Far Left Democratic Party's stand on these ideas.

Even in times of war, these principles become even more important, not less so!

Democrats would like to keep the focus on contemporary issues (Iraq and scandal), allowing them to win votes so that they can return to their primary agendas: promoting more powerful central government and pro-abortion judges.

As stated in my previous posts, Republicans who want to win in November should refocus and remind their voters of two things:

1. Liberal judges who will be be appointed by Democrats.

2. Liberal laws on abortion and other life issues under Democrats.

Protection of life and individual property are fundamental principles that Democrats and the judges they appoint will not secure. History documents that fact.

If those candidates haven't clearly communicated to voters their conservative credentials by now, they ain't conservative.

The Christian Right better keep their eyes open. The bait-and-switch, hypocrit Democrat candidates in the South and West are proclaiming themselves "pro-life", but they don't want Roe v. Wade overturned, and they are against gay marriage, but they don't think it should be a major issue. Of course, Jesus warned us against "wolves in sheep's clothing", so this is hardly new.

Values voters will stay home because Cheney’s daughter is a lesbian!!!

Oops, wrong year’s depress-the-vote gimmick.

Dear Harry,

Keep dreaming.

The "Evangelicals elected Bush" mantra is a creation of the mainstream meadia, which must explain the inexplicible (to them)losses of both Al Gore and John Kerry to a man they consider a blithering idiot.

Bush could not POSSIBLY have won because his ideas were better or because he put forward a better vision for America; he must have won because of a sinister cabal of brainwashed robots who flocked to the polls in record numbers in order to vote against Gay Marriage and Abortion and begin the construction of a theocratic state. Christians, unfortunately, can be tarred in this manner because they don't have the protection of Political Correctness and because, deep in their tiny, black hearts, democracts (small 'd' intentional) eat conspiracy theories up with their breakfast. They can't help but believe anything, which is why they're democrats in the first place.

Thus was born the "Evangelicals saved Bush" line which is hardly truthful at all. While Evangelicals probably vote republican more often than not, they are not a monolithic voting bloc that will decide an election all on their own, say like, single women or working-class men.

When Republican/Conservative columnists and opinion writers have to resort to repeating the media's lies as, ahem...bible truth...in order to rally the troops, you know you're in trouble.
