a) A russophile who also runs/ran a russian dating agency and whose wife once worked for Putin himself.

b) The new Russia is the same as Communist Russia is the same as Tsarist Russia because it is morally bankrupt and doomed to economic failure unless it sucks the lifeblood out of millions.
