His father and step-father were Muslims. He was also Muslim at birth but converted according to him at a very early age. His grandfather was involved with the Mau-Mau in Africa. He was reared by his white mother and family in Hawaii. It was my understanding that there was no such thing as an ex-muslim. Once a Muslim, always a Muslim.

He's half Arab, so why isn't he "Arab"? His grandparents were Muslim. His father was a member of a dictatorial African regime. His background is far from clean, yet the media will not touch it.

The same standard applies in this instance. He is overreaching himself and does not have sufficient experience to consider this.
