I like Sen. Allen a lot, and I'll vote for him enthusiasitically.
But a TV spot of two minutes or less, in a joint appearance with ole Hoppin' John? Who's gonna be swayed by that?
I think there's a lot of things to consider with this. The last 2 minute address obviously did what they wanted it to do.
And think about it. This will be talked about all week long.
Allen appears with Warner who disagrees with Allen and Bush on Iraq on Monday.
Wednesday, the President is coming to Richmond for Allen.
The RATS have tried to make a big deal about J. Warner disagreeing on Iraq. But the point here is that while Warner and Allen may disagree ~somewhat~ on Iraq and other issues, they both agree that Jim Webb doesn't belong in the Senate.
The RATS have also tried to use Reagan and McCain to boost Webb's image.
