Yes, it was a fluke that he got the nomination in 2004. Only because Dean imploded.
Before that he was trying to scrape funds together just to keep his candidacy alive.

You're right. His anger at losing in '04 has only added to the many reasons he will never be President. Comments like the one yesterday followed up with digging a deeper hole today are reasons I am so glad he isn't and won't be President.
