Where are they staying? I called the Maui Kai last night-they are next to the Kannapali resort by the Star market and they were ok. We go over in December and I was curious what your parents said in terms of damage. Thanks
I just talked to my Mom on the Windward side of Oahu...all okay. They got power back late last night around 11 pm. No damage, but bigger than Mom had ever experience in CA. She knew to be careful when opening cupboards, as glasses, etc. "dances" to the front edge during the "festivities."

They were staying at the Fairmont in Maui. They just got back today to the states . Driving to the airport in Maui felt like driving through a monsoon though yesterday they said.
