What a lot of people don't know is that there is a large body of water separating Hawaii from the U.S. mainland. And no one is being allowed to leave the islands to cross that water. In Hawaii, there is power outages and fear and confusion. There, on the mainland, there is electricity and water and food and HOPE. But you cannot get from here to there. And that's a fact.
Just let 'em go! Let this little baby go! Just let 'em swim the h**l across there!
fod goodness sake, don't get hysterical!

Then all the islands of Hawaii could be connected by bridges and tunnels, giving everybody on the islands access to this super bridge to San Francisco.
Of course, you would have to build floating rest areas along the way with gas, food and lodging. With 2400 miles separating Honolulu and San Francisco, I'm thinking we would need just 48 of these rest areas (spaced 50 miles apart).
We can do it!
