See my post #483 for my take on the calls. Only a couple of hang ups. I think Harold will win Shelby County (Memphis) but I'm convinced he'll lose the rest of the state.
I want Harold to lose the Senate race, but then come back to Memphis and run against crazy Willie Herenton, Memphis current mayor. He'll win then he can work with AC Wharton on city/county government consolidation. We need to purge the city government bureaucracy as it is both inneffective and hopelessly corrupt. That is especially true of the city school system.
Any chance you're going to the Mobile Business Expo conference in Chicago at the end of the month? Also, I'm working on plans for both CES, I think it's in January, and for next years Tech Ed, which is in New Orleans, I think in March or May.
I'll do TechEd. I don't know about anything else. You know, I'd much rather stay home and farm. I'm planning on having a lot of chickens next Spring. Big fat brown egg layers. Yum! Barred rocks and buff opingtons.
To bad I can't teach while, lets say, my students and I weed the garden. Lots of zen like moments when weeding, and it talking and listening helps to pass the time. I'll call it my Master Gardener and System Engineer program! The MGSE.
