I appreciate you picking up on what I thought was the most interesting tidbit from Chris Matthews show. "Borger says we will discover Hastert knew little or nothing about Foley."

Coming at the tail end of the show, Borger got no comment and as far as I could tell, no reaction from Matthews or the rest of the panel. But really, the attacks on Hastert have all been personal and bogus, and the MSM has just piled on for the hell of it. Let's give Borger credit for stating the obvious, but not for telling Matthews something he didn't already know.

Such a good point you make! But reality never gets in the way of Democrats sticking to their talking points. A talking point today from several shows is how much we are hated in the world, it's all Bush's fault, blah blah, and of course Kerry would join in by saying we can't bring counries together and "it's all Bush's fault".
