Check out this great .PDF file put together by the LA Times sometime back which showed how knowing Reid, or being related to him will get you places ..and rich:
(snip - following from the LA Times article)
"At least 17 senators and 11 members of the House have children, spouses or other close relatives who lobby or work as consultants, most in Washington
[ ]But Harry Reid is in a class by himself. One of his sons and his son-in-law lobby in Washington for companies, trade groups and municipalities seeking Reids help in the Senate. A second son has lobbied in Nevada for some of those same interests, and a third has represented a couple of them as a litigator. In the last four years alone, their firms have collected more than $2 million in lobbying fees from special interests that were represented by the kids and helped by the senator in Washington. So pervasive are the ties among Reid, members of his family and Nevadas leading industries and institutions that its difficult to find a significant field in which such a relationship does not exist .
In an internal memo, [Reid chief of staff Susan] McCue said Reids family members had lobbied his staff by supplying research, technical support and strategic guidance. She described them as effective advocates for their clients."
You can view a flowchart here from the LA Times (it's a PDF file, just right click the link and click "Save As...")
The next question becomes how long will the DBM let us in the "New Media" have our way with Dusty Harry. He is too big a player for them not to come to the aid of.
We(the New Media) have now become a force to be reckoned with. If the DBM chooses to ignore us as we unfold all the scandals dealing with dusty harry and his entourage, they do it at the demise of their own rat brethren.
In other words they can ill afford to ignore us anymore. We represent the truth(not just opinion but verified as well) and in their eyes "the truth" always has to be spun to the left.
Mind you, I wasn't chuckling cuz I thought it was funny, I was chuckling at the kid thinking "You wanna grow up to be a LOSER!"
I think Warner has an understanding with Hillary. Avoid the bruises of a primary, don't enter the fray attacking Hillary from the right, and she puts him on the ticket as VP.
It's a win-win for Warner.
notice how the MSM is spining NKorea as a success for Bolton but a failure for Bush.
Yeah. Hillary can sit in her ivory castle and send her vicious minions out to attack any opponents (Warner comes to mind). They can write carefully crafted speeches that she spouts during pre-arranged press conferences.
The minute this witch throws her pointy hat into the presidential ring she is going to HAVE to start talking and appearing and THIS will kill the woman. Let the ladies at the beauty salon hear her speak one time and it's all over. She has minus likeability factor.
PLUS....even the Lamestream sycophants aren't going to put up with her hiding behind Carville et al. They have to sell commercial air time and unless Hillary gets out in the open like every other darn candidate, she ain't gonna fly.
Hume and Crystal say the House is lost.
Caso said Weldon and his staff were "100 percent caught off guard" when they learned of the investigation, first reported late Friday by McClatchy Newspapers.
^^^^^
It used to be (during the clinton years) that bad news was dropped on Friday afternoons, so as to avoid scrutiny. Now, the cycle is reversed, and hit jobs are introduced on Friday afternoons to build steam in the present-day 24/7 news cycle.
Rep. Weldon has to know he is a target because of his insistence on speaking out about Able Danger.
The date and time and using his daughter to get him might have been a surprise, but not the fact that he is a target.
He might funnel it into real estate ventures.
Yes, I liked that answer a lot. Timmy and others ask that question all the time. The Pubbies could learn from this.
Timmy was trying to tie Kennedy to Bush, too. I'd rather be tied to him than Hitlery or Reid!
Klobucher talks a fast spin.
Here are the current polls - not looking too good for Kennedy, but these polls are a couple of weeks old and we all know how polls can be. Looks like she's been ahead since last Dec:

RealClearPolitics Analysis
(October 13) Hard to know what happened here for the Republicans. This is a race on paper that Kennedy should have been able to make competitive, it basically hasnt been since June. Kennedys problems may be a warning sign for Minnesota Republicans in both the Governors race and Kennedys current House seat MN-6. Both of these races Republicans were felt to have the edge, but current polls indicate toss-ups.
Kennedys problems could be foreshadowing a bad night for Minnesota Republicans across the board.

I won't deny it's a very tight race
But I will say it is up to us voters to decided who will have control of Congress or not
Regardless of what the media says ... GET OUT AND VOTE!!
Hillary loves the NY Yankees like she votes for the war. Okay today but different tomorrow.
We have early voting here in TX. I will vote on that first day, as soon as I can get to the poll.
Sounds very possible
Whatever is going on .. one thing is for sure
The Clinton's have their plans for 08 in action now
My absentee ballot goes in the mail first thing tomorrow.
This has been my opinnion too. Sure, she appeals to her followers but I'm not convinced she can appeal to most voters. She seems to turn people off once she opens her mouth.
