Back then, Freehan had to forcibly move Lolich away from the pre-game donut tray.

Are they a strong baseball team or are they running on luck and attitude? You can tell I don't follow baseball once Boston is out of the running.Detroit has a very good pitching staff and apparently somebody has told them how to pitch to win.
Detroit will win it all.

They faded at the end of the season, but any AL team will beat the NL. Also, they got hot again at just the right time.
