Lolich threw out the first pitch on Friday Night when I was at the game and he looks like he is eating more donuts than he is selling.

Wow, I'm surprised how many freepers are from Michgan. Nice to know I'm not alone.

Then you know what I mean. You couldn't have given me tickets to Friday's game, it was just plain bitter. I'm waiting to see one of the series games being played in a snow storm....LOL!

They don't have to borrow it from the Yankess because they soundly kicked the Yankees butts to get there.

You got that right ... I'll watch it from my living room at this time of year!
Amazing turnaround for the Tigers, they deserve this.

I think they are going all the way this year. Are they a strong baseball team or are they running on luck and attitude? You can tell I don't follow baseball once Boston is out of the running.

When they won the ALDS and partied with the fans,.....
Wasn't that something!
Can still see Kenny Rogers on top of the dugout pouring champagne over the cop's head!
Congratulations Tigers!! (from an Angels fan)

Lolich threw out the first pitch on Friday Night when I was at the game and he looks like he is eating more donuts than he is selling. Back then, Freehan had to forcibly move Lolich away from the pre-game donut tray.

Why are you bothering with this thread if you don't like baseball?

Detroit will win it all.

I'm kicking myself here in the Bay Area.....

Nothing says I love you, Tiger fans, than a walkoff homer. Particularly to clinch the pennant. :') A few hours ago I heard a bit on the radio, he emphasized Tiger teamwork.

They faded at the end of the season, but any AL team will beat the NL. Also, they got hot again at just the right time.
