You're both welcome.
In the past almost two years I've had it, I've found my HD tuner hanging off my Mac to be a very useful thing.
Go Tigers!

Oh the Tigers of my boyhood. PawPaw Maxwell, Al Kaline, Harvey Kuenn, Jim Bunning, Frank Lary and Paul Foytack pitching, Eddie Yost at 3rd. Briggs Stadium. We had it all, except for the fact that the stinkin' Yankees kept gettin' in front of us. They were the big prima donas then, some things never change.
I threw away a dozen Mickey Mantle cards. Kinda like the Cub's Bleacher Ethics: "Throw it back!! I'm proud that I stood up FOR PRINCIPLES.

they follow the mantra that detroit is bad, just because
we havent rioted since 84, and even then it was one overturned car and that was it, we didnt riot for the pistons or the redwings,
im sick of people having the wrong impression of my hometown.

"Detroit is known for its riots in response to sporting triumphs." The Tigers also have the most loyal and knowledgeable baseball fans. Not like the fans of the Atlanta Cravens or whatever their name is.

"I threw away a dozen Mickey Mantle cards." WHY?????....Two or three of them connected to the front wheel fork of my Schwinn Typhoon, ( which I STILL have), with a clothespin, sounded really neat against the spokes...
To: RightOnline
This significant achievement by the Tigers organization will be totally lost on too many in the Detroit metro area.......who have no interest in anything other than the latest street thuggishness of the NBA.Where are you from? It's certainly not Michigan. Frankly, you just sound stupid.

Detroit is known for its riots in response to sporting triumphs. Nasty, yes ... but true. Please list this evidentally huge number Detroit's known for.Exactly - let's see your evidence. One car 22 years ago does not make a pattern. You must have us confused with Denver, which does show a pattern of rioting after championship victories. In that same time frame, Detroit won several championships and no rioting was reported, yet Detroit gets the bad rep.
To: ShadowDancer
Not stupid. I just know Detroit.
To: madison10
Excellent! An arch-fan I know was talking to me about the Tigers back around the all-star break, and I said that they were going to the Series. That didn't look too great during their three game slide in KC. :')
Who hit the game winner?
