Jerry Brown taking a hard line on crime? I guess when you're 68, life happens. He was the first Democrat to endorse a flat tax. And in the last few years he wasn't exactly thrilled with his own party, according to Jill Stewart. His hefty lead in the polls is due to name recognition and my take is Poochigian would be Attorney General shoo-in if someone else than Brown was running. Brown is going to win and you can take that to the bank. His family is a California political dynasty... or was. The most interesting thing is 36% of Californians still don't like him very much. But most people appear to have forgiven him his stint as Governor. Which was 30 years ago and the California attitude is to let the past remain the past.
