I know he was a democrat, but sex with a minor is a crime. So why wasn't Studds prosecuted? I don't recall hearing anything about how he got out of that. Can anyone explain? Thank you

I never heard/knew about Congressman Studds(D), until the Foley incident happen.

Not sure, but it may have been due to the age of consent being 16 in DC. Maybe it's time for DC to raise the age of consent.
