Having sex with a minor is a crime to the best of my knowledge.

The age of consent in D.C. is 16, hence his asssertion that the sex with the young male was consentual and legal.

Typing that made me sick.

You are correct. The original blood clot was in the lung. This is the one which caused Studds to lose consciousness while walking the dog. The newest one is the one that killed him. It is not known where this clot was located.

I made the incorrect assumption that when a blood clot causes one to lose consciousness, it is due to a clot in the brain. My mistake.

What's rather ironic is that Chris Wallace referred to Studds as having passed away ,last weekend. He later came back and corrected his mistake. 165 posted on 10/14/2006 7:08:03 AM PDT by surrey

Whoops he wasn't supposed to make that announcement til the body reached room temp.

I wonder what the "accident" was?

I wonder what "walking his dog" means.

I heard it on 1430 WNDY in Indianapolis on the way home. They did mention the page scandal there. I'm not sure what affiliate they are, CBS, ABC or FOX.

But the media sayd "he was over 16 and therefore an adult. No story"

Wasn't Sodomy still a crime then, back in the early 90s? Well maybe not in the "enlightened" environs of DC.

I never heard of anyone being killed walking a dog.....he just fell over bumped his little head and died? Not believable at all.

Stranger things have happened. However, not at such a convenient time.

Was 17 past the age of consent in D.C. at the time? Apparently the page reciprocated the "raping" because there doesn't seem to be a charge of rape.
