"I think we will pick up seats. There is no buzz, no water cooler talk, no one saying I am tired of the pubbies and I am voting for dims."

I don't know where your located but here in Connecticut the moderate Republicans are in trouble. Dissatisfaction the the war, and high energy prices are driving the middle of the roaders to the Dems.

Here in Connecticut we are in a unique situation because of electric deregulation, unless you live here you can't possibly fathom what's going on.
That said, I'm hoping the more Conservative states that have carried us in the past pull us through.

I am in VT currently so I understand your point. CT is just as liberal as VT. Perhaps more so. Still, no buzz, no talk, nothing except the lunatic libs that always make noise. Tarrant is running a good campaign against Sanders and while I am optimistic, the Dims and worse outnumber us about 2/1 up here. New England is the last bastion of the socialist left and CT was a target for them with Lamont intended to whip the rest of the Dims back into line. Barring a miracle Lamont is toast. The other state the lunatics are after is Montana of all places. I don't think they will win this one either. In the end the Kos Kid and Soros wing Dims aspirations are going to be a smoldering ruin. Of course I could be wrong. Hang tough my friend. Remember Reagan / Carter. The pollsters said dead heat and you know what happened then.
