I've lived in SF and I know plenty about homosexuality. Studied it for years. JBThuggery is alluding to their methods, obviously. If a homosexual keeps his sex life to himself, fine. I could care less. What I am opposed to is the normalization of homosexuality and the active radical homosexual agenda, which is attempting to change the very social fabric of not only the US, but many countries around the world.
And if many homosexuals don't agree with the homosexual agenda, where are their voices? Why don't they protest about GSAs in schools? Why don't they decry Gay Pride Parades and the push for same sex marriage?
Just about the only one who speaks out is Tammy Bruce.
I really have no argument against keeping agendas of any kind out of the public schools. Or other distractions to a proper curriculum. And as repulsive as their efforts have been, I will confess that the left has been masterful at infiltrating endless corrupting influences into the public schools. It is now an almost daily occurance that class is interrupted for some non-educational distractor. And worse, how it is even done reflexively, using the children to influence public policy in return.
As far as "quiet" homosexuals standing up to oppose the noisy ones, I suppose it goes against human nature. For the same reason "the silent majority" is only heard on election day.
An old saying applies to anyone who wants to argue with a radical agitator: "Don't get into a p*ssing match with a skunk. That's his line of work and his livelihood."
