THE ISSUE: Mayor Bloomberg's gun-control initiative and affiliation with gun-toting rappers.
"Sheriff Mike Hails 109 in Mayor Posse" (Oct. 6) reports that Mayor Bloomberg led a group of like-minded mayors to Washington, D.C., to demand that Capitol Hill slash the Second Amendment and save us all from violent street thugs.
But one day prior, on Oct. 5, Bloomberg was pictured in The Post with the well-known "crime-fighter," Ice-T, who rose to fame in the '90s with his ode to law and order entitled "Cop Killer."
If Bloomberg truly wants to reduce violent crime, he should be pushing his friends in Albany for legislation to end parole now.

Can anyone locate a pic?
Ice T argues that COP KILLER and other material he writes are analogies to movie scripts, tv screenplays, novels and stories about crime and criminals written by otherwise upstanding citizens.
Anyone know if he has a real police record or history of criminal activity like Snoop Dog, Tupak, Marky Mark and other aholes that glorify the thug life?
Bloomberg is giving all the other demented egomaniacs a bad name.
